I have been running APSM for 20years now and i still have the drive and passion as i did when i first started off. My favourite part of the job is you get great feedback from our loyal customers for quality and turn around on the parts we manufacture for them and they expect quality as we are ISO9001 2015 Registered.
Technical Director/Production Manager
I aim to turn around the products as quickly as possible to keep our customers happy whilst ensuring the quality is of the highest standard. I can only achieve this with the help of our skilled and dedicated workforce.
I do various jobs at APSM, for example studding, drilling, countersinking, dressing & packaging of products. I aim to improve my skill level with APSM as i have already had a training course on the Brake Press and Forklift training also.
Apprentice TIG/MIG & Fabricator
I was previously working 4 days a week at APSM and one day in the local college doing my apprenticeship in welding fabrication. I have now completed my apprenticeship and work the full week with the rest of the work force. My next aim is to become a coded welder.
I have been at the company for 5years and started off with the basics and now have been trained up on the Brake Press, CNC Punch & the Automatic Saw. I now aim to do the programs for the laser and improve on my TIG & MIG welding in the coming months.
MIG/TIG & Fabricator
I enjoy my roll in the company and take great pride in my welding to ensure my welds are correct to drawing every time.
I mainly run the Laser and the Punch at APSM, Im very specific about keeping a quality finish to pass APSM standards and to achieve the desired finish for the customer to.
